LEGO Education Academy Teacher Trainer and FIRST LEGO® League Programs Coordinator
Katarzyna is a certified LEGO Education Academy Teacher Trainer and FIRST LEGO® League Programs Coordinator in Poland. She graduated from Warsaw University of Technology. During studies she realised, that LEGO Mindstorms is the perfect equipment for students to quickly understand complex programming structures. She has been organising and conducting robotic and programming classes for children, coordinating international robotic competitions FIRST LEGO® League in Poland, and creating materials for classes using LEGO Education kits.
Katarzyna is an EDGE member (Engineering Design Group Educators at Center for Engineering Education and Outreach at Tufts University in Boston) and she contributes to articles and educational content for LEGO Engineering as well as runs an online competition ‘Wyzwania-Pani-Kasi’ based on Dr E’s Challenges. In May 2017, she was a speaker at LEGO Education Symposium in Billund.
She believes that if we encourage girls in robotics and STEAM when they are very young we will have a lot of talented female engineers in the future.
