Join the Dance!

We believe in women and their power to change the world. We believe in the value of science and technology as the tools allowing us to know, understand and create amazing solutions to the most urgent problems of today. For the first time in history women can really do anything! Thanks to their minds, sensitivity and empathy the world has a chance for new history.

As the Perspektywy Foundation we have been supporting girls and women in technology, science and innovation for many years. We also always had a great dream. The dream about a place where wonderful women working in technology from all over the world can meet and share their experiences and inspiration. About the place to talk about the future and perfect one’s knowledge and skills – here and now. To gain valuable contacts and celebrate successes. We wanted Poland to become the heart of wise conversation about women and their great potential in the STEM area. To become the place to meet talent from entire Europe and Central Asia and be amazed by their wonderful minds.

This dream became true for the first time last November, when the first edition of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit unexpectedly gathered over 2.5 thousand of female programmers, technologists, scientists and innovators from 37 countries of the world. The impossible became a fact. The reality exceeded the dream. Now we want to invite you for the second journey together. Our motto for this year is “Dancing with the future!”

So let us dance together!

SPECIAL GUEST

INSPIRATION SPEAKER

Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski

New Einstein, Harvard University

Genius young physicist, considered today’s "beautiful mind” and “new Einstein”. Her research was quoted by Stephen Hawking. Her vision of the future, with visions by other world’s geniuses, has recently been sent into space by SpaceX.

The world first heard of Sabrina Pasterski when she built a one-engine plane in her father’s garage. She was only... 14. In January 2008 she came with her project (which she tested personally) to the office of the world’s most prestigious university, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The young constructor was admitted to study physics. And she graduated with the highest average in history. Now, at 26, she just successfully defended her PhD thesis in theoretical physics at Harvard.

In her everyday work Pasterski focuses on the most complicated aspects of the area, such as black holes, quantum gravity, spacetime. Her ambition is to redefine our vision of reality.

This exceptional scientist will be our keynote speaker and open this year’s Summit! Additionally, Sabina Pasterski will participate in a special lunch for students and young scientists specialising in physics, maths and computer science!

Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski's visit will be under the patronage of BCG.
