Kira Sukhoboichenko. President of the Flying Backpacks Foundation, Coordinator of the Integration and Adaptation Center for Youth in Warsaw. Originator of the International Backpack Day, which supports students’ passions. Organizer of the school competition “What gives me wings – My Passion” in cooperation with BIC Poland. Winner of the Internet users’ award in the nationwide competition “Kids Startups,” she has been actively involved in social activities ever since, often appearing and participating in numerous initiatives. Two-time TED speaker at TEDx Kids in 2019 and TEDx Warsaw Women in 2023. In 2019/20, she was a councilor for the Ursynów Youth District in Warsaw. She is one of the protagonists of Justyna Suchecka’s book “Young Power! 30 stories about how young people are changing the world” and Magdalena Kieferling’s “Pewna TY” (Confident YOU). In 2021 and 2022, she was featured in the article “LinkedIn Masters – 25 Women Worth Following” by Forbes Women Polska. Winner of the Tadeusz Mazowiecki Award of the Mayor of Warsaw for young people working for civil society. Nominated for the “Warsaw Woman of the Year 2025” poll. Winner of the Janusz Korczak Award. Winner of the “LEADER AMONG LEADERS” award from SWPS University. Winner of the Santander 2025 Award for students at SWPS University. Honored in the 14th edition of the “Mazowieckie Barwy Wolontariatu” competition in the category “Individual volunteering – youth.” Member of the jury for the third, fourth, and fifth editions of the Solve for Tomorrow program organized by Samsung.
