The SUMMIT & SCIENCE space - dedicated to scientists, students and academic communities at the Summit - was a place of inspiration, full of unique opportunities to meet life with outstanding figures in world science, expand your network of contacts and set your career in new technologies!
During the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit, the greatest minds in new technologies met: scientists, engineers, leaders, startuppers, and experts from global technology companies, academic centers, and the best research institutes.
This year's conference was partnered by the best Polish technical universities and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and students of technical and exact sciences, as well as representatives of the academic community, were, as every year, entitled to free tickets to the event.
The SUMMIT & SCIENCE space (in hall 3) was dedicated to scientists, students and academic communities at the Summit. It was a place of inspiration, full of unique opportunities to meet life with outstanding figures in world science, expand your network of contacts and set your career in new technologies!

The center of this space was the Science Stage with a unique Meet Quantum program, carried out together with the Ministry of Digitization and experts from NASK, PCSS, AGH, IQM Quantum Computers, and the University of Warsaw.
Quantum, in the future and present, goes with primary responsibility for what it will look like here and now, but also in decades - said Krzysztof Gawkowski, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, opening the Science Stage - Quantum is the moment of reality that will change the future of all of us.
Science and technology is not only a career path, but above all a great adventure, full of many different opportunities. Women have always been pioneers of new technologies and it is you, young women, who bring a new perspective and new energy, you become role models for future generations! - emphasized dr. Agnieszka Jankowska, Head of Digital Council at the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
Pamela Krzypkowska, Director of the Research and Innovation Department at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, added: - Science and quanta are the future, but so are all the connections you will make and the relationships you will build during your education, work, and here at the Summit. We do science together because only together we can push Polish and global science forward!

Among the many attractions of Science Hall, the standout was undoubtedly the opportunity to come face to face with a real model of a quantum computer, while scientists explained to Summit participants the basics of quantum mechanics and its application in solving computer problems: we learned about superposition, entanglement, and quantum interference, among others. Scientists also discussed current and potential applications of quantum applications in various fields such as quantum cryptography, optimization, machine learning, chemistry, medicine, etc. They also talked about the future of quantum computers and their impact on society, the environment, medicine, and technology.
There was also a panel discussion "Women in Quantum" - about women's contribution to the development of quantum technologies with the participation of female scientists and entrepreneurs.
The Science Stage was also a meeting place for women scientists working at CERN on the largest Atlas experiment, as well as the premiere of the "Women in Science" report and speeches devoted to cutting-edge antibody drugs and mRNA therapy, as well as many panel discussions on the hottest topics of contemporary science.
Experts who appeared on the Science Stage included:

In parallel to the Science Stage, the Start-up Stage operated in the SUMMIT & SCIENCE space, where the ceremonial finale of the Shesnnovation Academy acceleration program took place, organized with substantive support from the Kronenberg Foundation at Citi Handlowy and dedicated to the most innovative women's technological ventures. The Start-up Stage was also a place for panel discussions devoted to women leaders and diversity in technology, fireside chats and conversations about women's leadership.
The SUMMIT & SCIENCE space also includes:
Girls as engineers zone! & Girls go STEM! - full of attractions for girls choosing STEM studies
Women in Science Zone with an academic community of researchers
Booths of universities and scientific clubs with the study offer of the best technical universities in Poland, prospects for an academic career and professional development, as well as a space where students can see how theory is transformed into practice. You will be able to see projects here, including an alternative fuel vehicle, and the R5 Aurora rocket, as well as many interactive stands and educational presentations.
