Patryk is a software architect who has spent over 13 years working on embedded and automotive software. He can tell you why the software in a common, everyday car is often a more impressive piece of engineering than the code in an expensive flagship.
He holds a PhD in computer science, which he describes as a formal certificate proving he documents his curiosity and failures, along with the occasional conclusion. Patryk believes that if you truly understand a complex piece of technology, you should be able to explain it to a five-year-old. He can tell you how the discipline of scale changes the way we write software and why, sometimes, the most "boring" systems are actually the most brilliant.
