Darek is a senior technology leader with more than 20 years of experience across financial, retail, and technology organizations. He leads Hitachi Vantara’s global IT Employee Services and IT Business Operations organization and also serves, in a proxy capacity, as Poland Site Leader. In these roles, he is responsible for setting strategy and driving execution, with a strong focus on productivity, efficiency, and innovation across global teams.
A passionate advocate for Hitachi, Darek has been strengthening the company’s IT brand in the local community for many years. He actively promotes awareness of Hitachi Vantara, shares insights into the organization’s work, highlights career opportunities, and champions the talented people behind its success. His leadership style is people‑centric, emphasizing talent development, collaboration, and support.
Beyond his corporate role, Darek is deeply engaged in education and leadership development. He lectures and trains students, collaborates with the Cracow University of Economics, and partners with local leadership organizations. He completed the Chief Information Officer certification program at Carnegie Mellon University, following his MBA.
