Marta Krywanis is a Frontex Senior Research Officer, responsible for the demonstration and evaluation of cutting-edge solutions. She connects ground-based systems with space-based technologies to advance border surveillance capabilities. Her main domains of expertise are: satellite-based solutions for Earth Observations (Copernicus), Position Navigation and Timing (Galileo), and secure connectivity (GOVSATCOM). Prior to joining Frontex, Marta led R&D at the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), driving EU’s Global Positioning market adoption. She holds a Master's in Geodesy and Satellite Navigation and a diploma in Management of Innovation.
