Sonia Przygocka-Groszyk

Since early childhood she loved to expand her knowledge in different areas, which took her on a unique journey at university. She studied Quantitive Methods in Economics at Warsaw School of Economics, Computer Science at Warsaw University of Technology and Psychology at University of Warsaw. Sonia’s interest revolve around language development both in humans and machines. While she conducts studies on early language development in bilingual children she’s also amazed how LLM change the industry and day to day work of an engineer. Through her 10 years in data science she went from applying machine learning models to building agent systems, experiencing how focus changes from algorithmic knowledge to business understanding. Currently as Data Science Lead at Equinix she works on energy optimization problems and recommendation models. In her free time she enjoys gardening and wall climbing.
