Candy Chatawanich is a seasoned engineering executive with 30 years of experience in developing complex systems for the aerospace and automotive industries. She is Vice President of Engineering Operations at Honeywell Aerospace, where she drives operational excellence across Aero Engineering by aligning processes, tools, and talent with business objectives. Her role spans the global engineering footprint and includes oversight of engineering capital, workforce planning, training, and costs.
Candy began her career at Ford Motor Company before joining Honeywell as a Mechanical Design Manager for Military Propulsion Engines. She has led major programs including the Airbus A350 Electronic Bleed Air System and Boeing 737 Environmental Control Systems, managing cross‑site teams from design through certification. Previously, she led a 150‑engineer organization supporting Honeywell Aerospace Power Systems.
Candy is also a strong advocate for employee development and serves as Enterprise Leader of the Honeywell Asian Employee Network. She holds degrees from Columbia University, Texas A&M University, and MIT, and lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her family.
