Has 25 years with Bechtel performing in engineering, construction, business development, and business operations roles. Responsible for the technical and functional oversight of over 1600 engineers. She is currently tasked as manager of engineering for the Nuclear, Security & Environmental (NS&E) global business unit headquartered in Reston, Virginia, supporting Bechtel’s commercial nuclear power and U.S. government contracts. She is known for her leadership, collaborative style, and technical capability.
Since joining Bechtel Power as a structural engineer in 2001, Angela has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility supporting complex nuclear and defense projects such as the Hanford Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant and the mPower small modular reactor. She has experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams serving the Department of Energy, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, United Kingdom Office for Nuclear Regulation, Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command and power generating utility companies.
Angela has a civil engineering degree from Clarkson University. She is a registered professional engineer (California, Alaska, and Maryland).
