Urszula Stachowiak is a GPU Compiler Engineer at Intel in Gdańsk, Poland, working at Intel’s largest R&D center in Europe. She is part of the Intel Graphics Compiler (IGC) team, where she focuses on developing and optimizing high-performance compiler technologies for modern GPUs. Her work sits at the intersection of software and hardware, translating complex computational problems into efficient, low-level solutions that improve graphics and compute performance. In addition, she brings experience in computer networking and the telecommunications sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Internet of Things (IoT) and a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) from Poznań University of Technology.

She is passionate about performance analysis, debugging, optimization, and building efficient systems software. Beyond her core engineering role, she is actively involved in mentoring and supporting women in technology, advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in engineering. Urszula is also a member of GRAI, a working group on artificial intelligence supporting the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs, where she contributes to the Cybersecurity sub-group.
