Robert Pajak is Chief Security Advisor for North Europe & MCC at Microsoft, supporting CISOs and executive teams from leading organisations in building effective cybersecurity strategies and trusted security programmes.
He has over three decades of experience in cybersecurity, privacy, governance, and technology leadership. Before Microsoft, he served as Information Security Director at Akamai, where he led global information security compliance and governance initiatives and acted as Security Site Leader for a 1,000+ person site. Earlier, he held senior security roles including Head of Security at Future Simple Inc. - Base, now part of Zendesk - Head of Information Security for EMEA at Herbalife, and Chief Security Officer at INTERIA.PL, one of Poland’s largest internet portals.
Robert is co-founder of the postgraduate Cybersecurity Management programme at Kozminski University and has been actively involved in organisations such as OWASP, ISACA, and ISSA. He lectures at universities and conferences, comments in the media on modern cyber threats, and writes on cybersecurity, compliance, governance, and legal technology.
