Alex is the Chief Operating Officer for Poland at Point72. In this role, she oversees local
operations and supports regional technology teams, while partnering closely with senior
management in New York.
Prior to joining Point72, Alex spent 17 years at HSBC, where she held a range of senior
technology roles across Europe and the United States. During the first seven years of her
career, she worked as a software developer supporting equity derivatives trading, with roles
based in Paris, New York, and London. Beginning in 2013, Alex helped lead the internal
build of HSBC’s equities electronic trading platform.
In 2019, Alex relocated to Kraków to establish and lead HSBC’s markets technology
presence in Poland. Originally planned as a two-year assignment, the role expanded to four
years, during which time she significantly grew the organization and remained deeply
involved in equities technology. Alex joined Point72 in Warsaw as Head of Equities
Technology Poland and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Poland, in February 2025.
