Sylwia Holdynska is Nuclear Engineering Director at the GE Vernova Engineering Innovation Center in Warsaw. Since June 2024, she has led the GE Vernova Hitachi engineering organization, where she is responsible for supporting the development of the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactors (SMR) for customers globally.
Sylwia has more than 16 years of experience at GE, where her leadership has been built on a strong technical foundation. Before moving into management, she served as an Engineer in Materials & Processes, specializing in complex failure and material analysis, laboratory investigations, and the development of coatings for gas turbine combustion systems. Her technical expertise was further strengthened through GE’s Edison Engineering Development Program, where she focused on advanced technical problem-solving.
Throughout her career, Sylwia has led global engineering programs and the Edison Program in Poland, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to technical excellence and talent development. She holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from the Military University of Technology and a Canadian Executive MBA.
