Vivi Tjhang

Vivi is a licensed Civil Professional Engineer (PE) in California with more than 20 years of combined experience working on projects such as vitrification plants, chemical plants, nuclear power plants, and commercial buildings design. She has held a variety of engineering roles, especially in areas like civil and structural engineering, geotechnical and earthquake engineering. Vivi has contributed her expertise to major engineering organizations and projects around the world. Currently, she leads the civil and structural engineering team for the Poland AP1000 nuclear power plant project, overseeing technical guidance and planning for daily operations. Vivi earned her Master of Science in Structural and Earthquake Engineering and her Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating magna cum laude.
