Dobrosława Bartoszek-Bober, PhD, is a physicist, scientist and research project manager affiliated with Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń, its special-purpose commercialization company STARTOVA UMK, and, recently, with the spin-off EmpiriQa – a deep-tech spin-off established to commercialize 20 years of specialized research in Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) conducted by the SPALab team at NCU. Dobrosława has over eight years of experience supporting researchers in grant applications and project management, as well as seven years of hands-on laboratory experience in atomic physics, cold atoms, Bose-Einstein condensation, laser cooling and optical technologies. At the Single Photon Applications Laboratory, she combines scientific, technical and administrative expertise, supporting research teams in project coordination, funding applications, budget management and laboratory work.
