Monika Kornacka, Ph.D., is a psychologist and assistant professor at SWPS University in Poland. Her research spans both basic and applied domains, focusing on emotion regulation, transdiagnostic processes, and process-based cognitive-behavioral therapy. She leads the Emotion Cognition Lab, where she and her team investigate how new technologies can be used to study psychological processes and enhance clinical practice.
Dr. Kornacka has led research projects funded by the National Science Centre, the National Centre for Research and Development, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, and the National Agency for Academic Exchange. She has received fellowships from the Kosciuszko Foundation and the French Government. She was a visiting scholar at Stanford University (USA) and at Université Grenoble-Alpes (France).
Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Affective Disorders and Personality and Individual Differences. She also serves as a Board Member of the European Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Treatment.
